The building in the early 18th century has been demolished and repaired once and restored to its original shape.
From the outside, it looks like a one-story building, but it has a structure called “Tsushi 2-story gabled structure” with a room on the second floor.
Inside, there is a street on the east side, and at the north end there is a “Shimomise” (a room that serves as an auxiliary role between the Mise), and the living area is a “2-row, 6-room type” that is the basic structure of Imai Machiya. I am.
You can take off your shoes, go up to the room, go up the ladder stairs and see the second floor, so you can enjoy a leisurely tour of the interior.
