The first Machiya guest house in Imai-cho.
In Imai-cho, which had abundant financial resources, in order to protect public order, it prevented intruders from the outside and prohibited people other than relatives from staying in the town.

In addition to visiting the townhouses, you can experience the charm of the townhouses of the Edo period by staying overnight.
There is also a unique service that issues an accommodation certificate as a proof of accommodation, in connection with the old practice.
I introduced it briefly, but when you actually come to the site, you can experience the history and tradition more concretely with the locals.
