Inunakiyama Shipporyuji Temple, the head temple of the Shingon sect Inunakiha.
A temple built in 661 by the founder and actor of Shugendo.
Seven famous waterfalls in the mountains, including Gyosha no Taki, were named after the cloisonne such as gold and silver.
We also have a one-day experience of Shugendo training.
Inu Naruyama Shipporyuji is a waterfall with a head of about 10m.
It is counted as one of the seven waterfalls of Inunaruyama, and many people from all over the country visit Misogi as a spiritual waterfall.
You can go close to the basin, so you will be overwhelmed by the splashes and roaring sounds.
A waterfall management cooperation fee (50 yen) is required to visit the waterfall.
On the 3rd Sunday of every month, a one-day experience of Shugendo training (3000 yen * reservation required at least one week in advance) is also held.
After going to the waterfall, we will go to the hot spring in Inunakiyama Onsen Fudoguchikan, which is an inn of Inunakiyama Onsen, which is highly regarded as a hot spring for beauty.
Only the hot springs can be used, and you can enjoy the famous hot springs and the fresh green of Inunakiyama in the open-air bath facing the Inunaki River and the large communal bath.
I introduced it briefly, but when you actually come to the site, you can experience the history and tradition more concretely with the locals.
